The position is for an in-house, full-time Website Support Technician. Must be comfortable working one-on-one with clients of all capacities; must be able to troubleshoot and solve problems, be organized and extremely detail oriented; must be self-motivated and be eager to learn at a very fast pace; must be able to work independently with little direction but in a team environment.
- Customer service
This job requires personal contact with clients of different professional statuses as well as multiple technical aptitudes. Must be patient and respectful and be able to communicate effectively and professionally via email, phone, and in person.
- Web development background (demonstrated skills in HTML and CSS)
As a support technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and fixing code as necessary. It is imperative you know the proper steps to analyze web functionality and/or CSS styling issues, and that you have the capacity to make the necessary adjustments to websites quickly and accurately.
Preference will be given to someone with the following knowledge and/or experience:
- Ruby on Rails
- Server administration (Windows and Linux)
- Call center or IT support
- WordPress/Joomla or other CMS environments
- Email administration
- A degree in Web Development, working toward that degree, or equal experience in the Web Development industry
